Thank you for considering the Midwest Leadership Summit! Here are answers to a few questions you may have.


Who should attend the Midwest Leadership Summit?

The Midwest Leadership Summit is for anyone looking to grow personally or professionally - regardless of your job title. We have attendees from a wide-variety of industries and stages in their careers. Since Central Exchange is a women-focused organization, we're frequently asked if men can attend... YES! All genders are welcome for this inclusive event full of leadership development, growth and inspiration.


What are the takeaways?

We understand that your time is precious. That's why we're spreading the Summit over three days — July 21-23 — from 9:30 to noon CST each day. Each day comes with inspiring content including keynote speakers, breakouts and networking opportunities to maximize your investment. Attendees speak to the inspirational content and ability to meet new faces as some of the highlights of the conference.

Our nonprofit mission is to connect and cultivate women leaders across generations. We hope you join us on July 21-23 to experience our 17th year of this inspirational event!


Do you have a nonprofit discount?

Thank you for considering the Midwest Leadership Summit! As a nonprofit ourselves, we know the Summit is a valuable development event for your teams. We do have a nonprofit discount code. Please email kerry@centralexchange.org with your nonprofit information.


Who hosts the Midwest Leadership Summit?

The Midwest Leadership Summit is hosted by Central Exchange. Central Exchange is Kansas City's first and largest leadership community for women. Our nonprofit mission is to connect and cultivate women leaders across generations. We hope you join us on July 21-23 to experience our 17th year of this inspirational event!


What if I can only attend/participate one day? 

Not a problem! Your ticket gives you access to recordings of all three day’s content.  This unique opportunity to view the sessions after our broadcast days will be available to you until April 1, 2021. Tickets cannot be purchased for individual days.  


What recordings will be available? 

All the keynote, breakout and bonus sessions will be made available following the event until April 1, 2021. You can access the recording when you need inspiration for your 20/20 Vision. 


How long will the recordings be available?  

Videos will be available until April 1, 2020.  To access the content simply use the log-in information you will use to access the site on the broadcast days (this will be sent after you register, prior to the event!)


Can I share the recordings with my friends/family? 

You will access the recordings with your event login information, which is unique to you. We ask that you do not share these recordings due to copyright. Thank you!  


Will I be in the recordings? 

Good question — no! While we’d love to see your lovely face, the recordings will be of the speakers and presenters only. However, you’ll have opportunities during the sessions to participate with others via chat.  


How soon can I select my breakout sessions?

Each day you will choose one breakout session to attend, you do not need to choose the session in advance.

And, good news!  All the breakout sessions will be available for viewing after the event until April 1, 2020. For a detailed agenda, please visit our website.  


Will I be able to interact with people at all, or is this a “sit and get”?  

The Midwest Leadership Summit will be an interactive, engaging event. In addition to session content, attendees will have access to chat and networking sessions.  


Can I pick and choose what events to attend? 

Absolutely! We know you’re a busy professional, so that’s why we’ve designed the Summit with bite-sized times to fit your schedule. Have a meeting or a call planned in the middle? No worries — you can access that session via recording following the event.  


What happens if I pay, and then I’m not able to attend at all? 

Unfortunately, ticket fees are nonrefundable. The brightside to this new virtual event format is that if you aren’t able to “attend” July 21-23, you will still have access to all the content following the event.  


What is the last day to register for the event?

We’ve got you! You can register up until the morning of the event.
